Our story

Perry's, formerly Dennis Hot Bagels.

For years, this corner of Route 17 South was Dennis Hot Bagels. Then we moved a few blocks up the road, took on a new name, and kept everything that mattered: bagels boiled in water and baked on the same counter you're standing at. Hot, all day long.

We open at four-thirty in the morning Monday through Saturday because that's when the contractors, the commuters, the night-shift folks heading home, and the early-rising regulars need a bagel. We close at four in the afternoon. Sunday is five to two.

Everything's made on-site. The Taylor Ham and egg on an everything bagel is the one Bergen County has been ordering for thirty years. The Bobo, bacon and egg and cheese with a hash brown folded right in, is the one regulars order without looking at the board. Both still feel like a small win every single morning.

The Boil

Every bagel goes in the water before it goes in the oven. That's where the crust comes from.

The Counter

We know your order before you walk in. Most days, anyway.

The Hours

4:30 AM is not a typo. Come find us when it's still dark.
